IronMerge welcomes Ben Newnham as Group General Manager.
Ben is centred here between IronMerge co-Chairmen Wayne Nannup and Des Headland.
Ben leads the IronMerge Group of companies, initially focusing upon the People and Industrial divisions. He will also launch the new IronMerge contracting entity - PROGRESSIA - a 100% owned subsidiary of IronMerge.
Ben brings significant industry heft to the role and is a very well respected professional from his many years in the recruitment industry.

IronMerge is pleased to announce that Des Headland and Wayne Nannup have joined the board of IronMerge as new majority shareholders and company directors.
IronMerge thanks Ian Taylor for his founding vision and energy, wishing him the very best in his next initiative. While Ian is no longer associated with IronMerge, the roads he paved for the business will be remembered.
The new members of the IronMerge board bring a wealth of experience and connections to the business, enabling its next phase of sustainable growth. The company will continue to operate IronMerge People - providing award winning labour solutions (recruitment services and labour hire). The IronMerge Industrial division will become a core growth pillar, offering industrial consumables, hardware, tooling, plumbing and PPE with over 70,000 stocked items.
Des Headland is a proven entrepreneur and will leverage his considerable public profile to expand the IronMerge client base. Wayne Nannup is a lawyer and was most recently the CEO of South West Land and Sea Council, and brings with him significant industry credibility and networks. Together, Des and Wayne will drive the business forward to the next level, harnessing their commercial strengths, their passion for social impact, and commitment to relentless customer service.

Indigenous trades excel on Nyamal Country
IronMerge Chairman Ian Taylor announced that the IronMerge workforce across the Pilbara had exceeded 70% Indigenous.

IronMerge puts new Komatsu digger to work for NRW!
Innovative Indigenous Business Partnering | IronMerge and NRW
IronMerge Chairman Ian Taylor today celebrated a significant milestone with NRW General Manager Civil, Dennis Donjerkovich at the commissioning of its Komatsu 30t PC290LC Excavator.
The Komatsu machine was purchased by IronMerge and will be hired out to NRW for initial deployment on the FMG Iron Bridge project, operated by an experienced IronMerge driver.
The acquisition of the new excavator was made possible by NRW's commitment to engaging Indigenous business leveraging a sustainable and innovative framework. Ian Taylor acknowledged the support of NRW at the commissioning ceremony, "IronMerge is proud to take its relationship with NRW to the next level with the deployment of this new Komatsu excavator. It will be working on Nyamal Country, operated by IronMerge and delivering local impact".

Fencing Finesse for BHP
IronMerge recently completed a major fencing contract for BHP's Newman operations, securing their Mining Area C datapod facility. The fencing was delivered on time and the project finished ahead of schedule with a very satisfied client. IronMerge was presented with a "BHP BrightSpot" certificate acknowledging the success of the works and the great collaboration with BHP site personnel.
Pilbara Minerals - Major Contract Win
IronMerge and its JV partner, SIMPEC are currently delivering the Stage 1 Improvement Works to the Pilbara Minerals Pilgangoora site. This $15m project will create over 50 direct jobs with a minimum 20% Indigenous workforce, setting a high bar for projects of this complexity. Venturex civil works | Success and safety!
IronMerge successfully completed a civil works contract for Venturex's Sulphur Springs project.
The Sulphur Springs project is located 144 km to the south east of Port Hedland and includes the Sulphur Springs and Kangaroo Caves deposits together with tenements along the 27 km Panorama Trend that contains six advanced targets that have returned intersections of commercial grade copper and zinc.
IronMerge was engaged to provide rehabilitation works and track clearance in a remote location with steep terrain. All works were completed safely, on time and on budget together with our partner Carey Mining Services.
